1. The genre of this song and indeed the whole album is soul/hip hop therefore we need to take into account aspects of these genres which we will want to include in our video. With this particular album each song tells a different part of a story of a fictitious character with the name of 'Strickland Banks', with this song he is at the point of the story where he is in prison for a falsely accused crime.
2. As to apply to the conventions of this particular album we will also be telling the story with a mixture of performance based shots as well. With placement of some well planned shots and a strong easily read narrative is how we will set about planning and shooting the video.
3.Our mood boards will reinforce some of the ideas and themes we wish to cover in a more visual way.
